The Computer has revolutionized not only the data processing and storage, but also the quality of life, communication, manufacturing and transportation. The degree programme in Computer Science has been designed to enable growth and learning in a highly focused and application-based environment. This is achieved through a combination of formal lectures and hands-on experience in well-equipped laboratories and through project activity. The 4-year Degree programme caters to the growing need for exceptionally trained people in India and abroad.

The department, other than focusing on the courses of studies, also invites expert professionals from industries and neighboring institutes to deliver talks on advanced technological topics. The students are always encouraged to participate in software project demonstrations in various competitions organized by various organizations to put them as per with the industry standards. The department aim will much more than the prescribed university syllabus, keeping an eye towards the fastest growing computer industry.
